Joel Rizzo and Kira Lowe present a poster at The Academy of Medicine, Engineering, and Science of Texas (TAMEST) Innovating Texas Conference to academic and industry professionals from across the state. The poster was one of two selected as semi-finalists from among submissions from UT Dallas and highlighted work on the Individual Nystagmus Simulation Training Experience (INSITEā¢), a virtual human-based training system which provides on-demand practice for law enforcement officers learning to identify horizontal gaze nystagmus (HGN), an eye condition associated with alcohol impairment.
